Artist's Comments
I finished these this weekend. I wanted to make a pair of shoes for myself as well and I did.
They were a lot of fun to do but they took a long time, compared to how long I normally spend on art atleast. The theme is pretty obvious but it's a kind of "beauty is only skin-deep" thing. The "outside" of the shoes are pretty and the "inside" of the shoes aren't so pretty. I think they turned out pretty good and I'm very pleased with them. I just need some clear varnish to spray on them and I'll be set. I ended up lacing them with black laces with blue and white stars on them if anyone was wondering. I realize I should have made the pictures larger, if people want larger pictures I'll either link larger ones or just remake the damn thing. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
